Black and Blue '71 build

It's been broke.
Starter issues, gas gauge, flux fluctuations, cinematography, turtles
Lots of this lol
First my distributor goes out(pick up wire broke but just enought so that I didnt notice till the 100th time removing the distributor :haha:
Then the stater takes a crap...fixed that...only to have my steering go bonkers...lots of repairs but its back up and running like a champ...minus my damn gas gauge!!!!

Dehhhhh I like turtlessss...

who doesnt?!?!
I had a huge red eared slider named "Stella"...and she was quite groovy :haha:

Side bar:
Might be neighbors with Nor_cal chris.
Went and looked at nice 3br/2ba/2car house on a pretty good size lot
Needs some loving...maybe alot of lovin but itll be worth it in the end to actually own my own house instead of wasting money on rent.
Just Gotta jump through all the hoops now but I hope this is the one cuz looking sucks!

And another side note:

Started another project but itll be a slow one.
Its a 5speed/sas on my 2wd 91 s10 ext cab. The 700r4 went out and Ive finally got the majority of parts to swap in my nv3500/231 combo. Also started the front leaf hanger and got plans for the rear shackle hanger.
Plan is to get it driving so I can retire the jimmy to offroad duties and daily drive my s10
Biggest decision is whether to do a d30/blazer rear, or d44 fr/rr(or toyota axles) or waggy44 with8 lug and my63" eaton rear(basically narrowed 3/4tons)
I want to keep it daily driveable so regearing for the appropriate tire size weight combo is a given. Dont wanna get too crazy with this just yet but also dont wanna skimp out on strength
Tire size vs axle combo as followed
D30/blazer:31-33"(already have)((thinking 4:10s)
D44fr/rr: 33-35"(4:10-4:56)
Narrow 3/4: 37"(already have)((4:56-5:13) already geared to 4:56)
Ill post picks in here since it really doesnt need another thread.

Went for a spur of the moment drive down an ol service road (i guess thats what you'd call it). Had some fun and started building up the ol ladies tolerance to the bouncing around of off-road...she still wont hit the bigger rocks but we will get there :haha:

thought mike was here but these tracks were ungrooved :haha:

Haha thanks Mike:waytogo:

Went all the way down Latrobe and I must say...its long lol
Wasnt expecting it to go as far as it did:eek1:

Probably goes furthur but we ended up catching Latrobe (that runs north/south) back to highway 50.
It still ran 3-5 miles atleast.

Not much after the little river bed but the scenery is very nice.

:haha:

Not much has happened since I got my s-10 running again.
Still got to sas that and get some tires

As for the jimmy i finally gor the last 3 rims i need to switch out to steel rims vs the alum. ones that were on it. Hopefully i can get those mounted this weekend and maybe go wheeling in time for round 3 of norcal rock races.

We going to customer appreciation day at PC?
(that means you gotta finish your junk too Mike:haha:)
