Anybody else tired of working on their truck? I started April 6th, and only have 30 miles on the truck sense I tore it down and 25 of that was Monday... I can't wait to enjoy it in Moab, it won't set until I'm at the campground.
Not too much, but I am at the point I'm starting to mentally cross things off in my head. The "might as well accept that isn't getting done before we leave" type stuff.

I have a few of those in my mind, although they might half ass get put on anyway.

Drove mine to work all 3 days of my work week, got a few more things to knock out, but they are little and don't affect whether the truck can go or not. So I plan on being there sometime Thursday!

I thought I blew a bulb for one of the marker lights on the side, pulled it apart and ground wire broke, Geez can't they build anything that lasts? I mean its original wiring on a 1970 vehicle, only 51 years old...flagwaver

I spent a lazy hour on the lift at the shop changing the oil and greasing it.

Drove it all last weekend. Will drive it for the next week starting tomorrow. But it's why I don't tear it down so far I can't drive it once a week at least. I've made at least 10 runs to Denver with the 8.1 swap done. Pretty confident in it now.

It's the racing in me that does a complete tear down and inspection.

It also took out the wiring to the house ac and it's hot

That definitely is bad, in a not great area for services to get to you.

I was thinking about the only way now is a landoll trailer and a ride to civilization. No way anyone on the res has the tools or tech to deal with a major wiring issue on a diesel pusher.

Sucks it broke.

Yeah, the two places in Flagstaff can't get to it until October

4.5 year old tires, rv parked inside for the last 3, tpms didn't go off until the tread came off

Probably didn't lose air till then. Should have been an outta balance shake, as tire separated.

I didn't feel anything on either one of the semi tires last year. The damage the rear did to the structural steel on the bed was nuts. I couldn't imagine what it would do to a motorhome.

yeah I blew 2 inner duals on 1 trip, I didn't feel anything either, fortunately no damage to coach, and on way home. they weren't big truck size tires either. 15 years old, what was I thinking.
