Blazer's 68 Nova "Stephanie"

Any body have any experience with after market control arms ? Good ones bad ones etc. I have all new bushings and ball joints for the stock set so looking to see what my other options maybe.

All the data I had on them is dated. Be curious to hear also

I have done 2 Hotchkis systems a long while ago. Were great then, so I would hope better now. But they are pricey.

If you look at how long it will take you to make a set, those are ok. I have done tubs by hand. 15 to 20 hours each to do them right.

Almost seems like I would be saving money to full tub it.

Figured out my body mount issue. Going to tack weld the washers onto a piece of plate then cut it out with a hole saw. Using the plate as my centering hole maker.

Figured out my sort of dilemma with frame connectors.

Just ordered new front spring and new front shocks. Going to have a new front end when this is said and done.

Going to have to bolt the subframe in, in order to do the front A-arms too.

I just put full ride tech arms on my Chevelle this summer.
I would say ridetech is proud of their stuff, but very well made. And arguably the best in the business.
Speed tech is another company I would recommend. But I have yet to buy anything from them. Only recommend them from other forums I'm on. They are a local to you Utah company as well.

Call Matt's classic bowties and see what he can get for you whenever your ready for an upgrade.

You can also box your factory units to get you by.

Global West is a good value suspension component maker - arms, subframe, etc. It’s not full-on race stuff, but better than factory.

thanks David another to add to my bookmarks for future reference.

I was talking to "I never get on here anymore" Eric Westover he made a good point, not that I would ever tell him that.... He said what if you just want to go cruising in the thing. Don't go so far with the build that you cant drive it. You may like to really drive it and want to put a driving motor, a overdrive and sway bars and stuff. I said good point. So maybe slowing my roll on the full race stuff. Still doing the fuel cell, still doing the frame connectors. Waiting on the mini tubs cuz I do have a back seat I can put in it.

Rabbit holes are deep... And the bottom always looks cooler than where your standing. But you can't ever reach the bottom. Because there's a new bottom. And it's cooler than where your standing. So sometimes you have to look up lol.
