I think one of my trucks has been running hose clamp exhaust hangers for a while now.....
So front driveshaft is in. Skid plate next, then on to stripping parts off the other Burb.
Got some Burb stripping done, floor is nice. Going to be cut out though.

No just two. The Burb is parts for the Blazer and some sheet metal for the crew cab and Blazer.
Got a little addition for the shop.
Then built a cart out of a old dolly to wheel it around on. Still have to add hangers for cords and stuff

I just bought the titanium 170 MIG last week and it is worlds better than the HF one I had before it (the black box 190). I'm very impressed at what the titanium will do (the welder at least)

ok, so plasma cutter are fun. Saved the panel, going to save the wheel well. Floor and rockers, got to get the fuel tank out of the way though be I do the floor.
Plasma cutters are so helpful! Not to mention the cost of cutoff wheels anymore...
And no one ever cut their fingers off with a plasma.
Did a bunch of work on stripping the 89 burb.
Then did something that I was avoiding a bit. The Johnny Joint on the traction bar looked like it was no good. So pulled the bar out. Johnny Joint was good, but It was a bit worn. I have a rebuilt kit on its way so going to rebuilt it. Found another issue though. Think I need to use grade 8 bolts ..... one is a bit bent. It was the top bolt on the axle.

So shop update, got the rest of the plates up on the wall. I have a bunch.
I'm on my third variation of trying to get the rebuild parts for the Johnny Joint. I hope I got the right one this time.
I did get the metal sleeves out of the bushings and yeah those are shot
