no.. I wanted to go to fuel injection, a nice kit for the big block would have been spendy and soured the deal. These motors weigh considerably less and I can still have as much power..win win..

1k seems a little high for the harness fuel system and tube to me

Be careful with the MSD fuel pumps. They aren't all that great if it is the inline style that I used to run in my truck. If you are going to run an inline pump I would suggest a better pump like the Walbro that I am/have been running for 3yrs in my K5 and 2yrs in my Dodge CTD.

yes sir, walbro 255lph pump.
maybe its just me but all the cheapy universal high pressure fuel pumps around ~$100 seem to be the same generic pump with a sticker on em..
i've had decent luck with the cheaper pumps, but not great, i'm averaging about 2-4 years, so i'd buy two and have a trail spare.
if you starve the pump or suck air and make the pump whine, down at like 1/8 tank, thats what kills em.

D00d, for 5 grand you could've had a smokin' big block. I don't know why you have such a hard-on for Gen III/IV motors - they ain't all that.
