Got the xj steering shaft on today!
Finally got my rear seats in the truck just a little bit more fab work!
Had a good day at hidden falls today. First time for these type of trail rides and I was happy with it.
I know that rock!!!

RIP to the burned, rolled chevy swb square found on one of the trails.
Truck did great for its first big trail ride. Fans kept it cool. Now just time to upgrade front driveshaft. Will post carnage when I get it off the rig.

Had water in differential (not sure from where) and a little bit of slack in pinion...so I disassembled it to clean, replace worn seals, and re set ring and pinion.

My brother got his truck going this weekend after it has sat for at least 6 years. It was a 9/10 when it was restored in about 2011/2012. I’m glad to see it running again and hope he can start enjoying it.
Very nice. I fired mine for the first time in three weeks and let it get hot so it keeps the shop warm haha.
Living here in Southeast Texas we don’t see snow/sleet very often. Me and the family had fun making us a little snowman. Also the 5.3 fired right up on a cold start with it being 20 degrees outside!
Had the top off the k5 today for a local car show. My dad brought his 72 nova. And brother had his 78 step side.
So I went and looked at an 89 3/4 suburban this weekend. I will most likely pick it up in a month as a roller. I’ve always wanted a suburban and now I’m really wanting one bad. I will be keeping my k5 so don’t worry bout me getting rid of it. I just have so many ideas running through my head on what to do with it. Wish I had a picture of it to share!
