I know I’ve been kinda quite lately. Just waiting on my shop to get here so I can give some updates while in a garage. Also we are expecting a baby in November so productivity is slow haha.

I still plan on getting the 89 burban...but I’ve also been looking into a 2012 suburban 2500 4x4 as my daily since the family is getting bigger
I’d go 12. When I’m hauling the family I like something newer.
Everyone should have a few Suburbans.

Very last minute trip to my aunt and uncles. Me and my dad took a little road trip on the Honda trail 70 & 90 to Barnwell Mt. Wish I had the k5 or the sxs to ride at the park but was a nice little ride on the back roads.
Did you ever do your barnwell trip earlier this year?
No I did not...but talking right now of possibly coming back in July to visit family again and may be able to squeeze a trip in
Just in time for Father’s Day. I’m sure I will fill the space up quick with a bunch of useless stuff haha. But I’m glad I can finally have my own place to work on things and keep the ole k5 out of the weather.
Since I got the burban the ole k5 had a little bit of neglect. Broke it out for a little wash. Need to take an off-road trip again and really enjoy it.
Plan on going to a toy drive c10 car show this weekend. Been a while since I posted. Just had our third little one so projects have been put on hold for a little bit. Ill post a picture this weekend of ole yeller!
It’s no show truck. But it’s my truck! My k5 and brothers stepside at our local c/10 car show. It is a Christmas toy drive down at the river. Over 130 cars and trucks showed up. Ole yeller even brought home a trophy for one of the kids favorite pick!
So I’m off next week to finish my vacation hours for the year. I was thinking bout fixing some rust spots on my truck and re painting it with a $50 rustoleum paint job. I’m also looking into starting my roll cage. I’ll also be switching insurance over to the burban that way I still have a square to drive lol

The optima gave out on me. Went to crank up the truck and was dead. I guess it lasted a while.
No bueno.
Looks like 8 years was a good run though.
Was thinking about changing out my slip yoke 205 for a flange style 205. Just need to rebuild it and swap it out. Looking to extend the drive shaft for better degree angle. Also this slip yoke has leaked forever even with the sye.
Looks like I’m going to make it to Blazer Bash this year! Any last min mods I should get done before heading out there? I’ll be putting the soft top on it. Also I’ll be driving it every min I can just to work out any last min kinks that pop up.
