Yeah usually 3 days or less but this was overnight lol. Are you in SLC, UT also?

Man the cooling system on this should be amazing once it's all said and done. Who knows... maybe I'll throw those windstar fans back in and make some of these guys really happy ;)

No I'm in eastern Utah currently but it was like that when I lived in Idaho and back when I lived in Tooele. I recently ordered tires on a Mon afternoon from 4 wheel parts out of CA and had them Wed with free shipping.

Btw back to the possibly towing with my Jimmy... you ladies watch this....

Looks pretty normal to me, add some Teflon and go. But make sure to paint it before it goes on the engine.

I can rarely get a fitting to thread down much further than that on anything; that looks pretty typical. You could probably get a tap and run the threads deeper. Because pipe threads are tapered you can kinda dictate the depth by how far you tap it. When I cut my own threads, I have a habit of cutting pipe threads too deep. I want to run the tap all the way thru like it was a standard thread and then you end up running the fitting all the way in before it gets tight. There's a balance in there somewhere.

I did see a K5 towing a 20'+ 5th wheel camper at Walmart once so anything is possible.

Oh and don't over tighten pipe fittings if you didn't already know or you will have a junk water pump. They can crack things easily due to the taper.

Got a new house and am in the process of moving. Both rigs finally have a real roof over them.

I have a new water pump, fan and couple other little toys to throw on this thing as soon as i have a free min...

Im going to be focusing on my wheeling rig more. I may start chopping on that one as soon as tomorrow.

Bump ....
What's up with this lately???
@6872xtc thanks for the bump, made me actually go tinker with it today.
Adjusted my linkage so im actually getting 85+ tps vs like 60 and i discoved that i left my fitech plugged in and i had a dead battery.
Feels good to do something on this truck today. It was nice to be able to back my other truck right up to it and use it as a platform to work off.

I also used plan b to pull bushes and a tree. So even though my day was spent mostly doing house stuff i still got to play k5.
