You're good, tapered pipe threads. Put some Teflon thread sealant on there and you should be ok. It's going in at least half way so should be fine.

No I'm in eastern Utah currently but it was like that when I lived in Idaho and back when I lived in Tooele. I recently ordered tires on a Mon afternoon from 4 wheel parts out of CA and had them Wed with free shipping.Yeah usually 3 days or less but this was overnight lol. Are you in SLC, UT also?
Man the cooling system on this should be amazing once it's all said and done. Who knows... maybe I'll throw those windstar fans back in and make some of these guys really happy![]()
Btw back to the possibly towing with my Jimmy... you ladies watch this....
Psh... details...short wb vs long wb. that's the issue joe. you don't want a trailer pushing nightmare allover the place.
I did see a K5 towing a 20'+ 5th wheel camper at Walmart once so anything is possible.
I've learned this the hard way a couple times.Oh and don't over tighten pipe fittings if you didn't already know or you will have a junk water pump. They can crack things easily due to the taper.

Don't ruin this dream for me....Was it just me or was the frame visibly bowing up under the load?

What's up with this lately???
