Burnt burb resurrection (It's mine again!)

Well, you're definitely high geared. 12's ain't bad for a Burb pushing 35's with high gears and a small block.

5mph? Come on you picky sob lol. My speedometer doesnt work at all!!!!:thumb:
the one in my crew doesnt either. I just figure if I havent driven over anyone and nobodies driven under me I must be going the right speed:rolleyes:

It never occured to me to do my mileage off of the GPS:doah:

Ive learned to just watch my tach. 1800 rpms is "roughly" 55ish. :D

I think one of these may be in order when things level out financially:thumb:

I trust my tach more than I do my speedometer :waytogo:

But dont trust it if your alternator is going bad. I was driving into work one day and I thought dang, either my 408 just magically started running highway speeds at 1000rpms, or somethings effed up lol. (it was not the magic option:doah:)

I lost a oil cooler line, didn't catch it soon enough. Now there's a new GM LO5 long block from Summit on my garage floor. Now I need time to swap it. Also sayin' fuggit and making -AN lines for the trans and oil lines. No more failures. Ever.

What's up with the Z06 lettering on a 5.3? Does the person who took that picture also own a civic?

its a pic from a pirate link that I think muddysub put up in his burb thread. dude sells 5.3s with a z06 cam installed.

There are so much better cams out there for a 5.3L than a ZO6 cam. That's just to sell it to people who see ZO6 and think it is gold.

I got the wheel spacers on finally:rolleyes: Thanks Trea18:thumb: It does look a lot better. heres a couple shots of with and without
