Burnt burb resurrection (It's mine again!)

I got a lot done today. I took a little more time on the rear fenders than I did with the fronts. Not as much as the truck deserves
. But I cleaned them up real good, I got them primed and painted and I did a quik clean up paint job on the axles and related items to make it look better. Plus I did some trimming on the flares/runners to smooth them out and open them up. I got all the brake lines on and the rear shocks since they go inboard of the springs. I legnthened the rear diff vent and have to do the front one tommorow. Now its pretty much a wait on the springs and the drop pitman. I' might start on the radio tommorow also.

I just got off the phone with Alcan and my springs wont be shipping from them till the 4th or 5th. Also ORD says at least a month for the drop pitman. I can probably get away without the pitman for a short while being only a 3" lift. But I deffinatley wont be getting it on the road for the build n greet
Oh well I'll still have it setting on its own new shoes the week after it. Wont be much progress till then though. Maybe some fluids. I gotta cut the dash for my cd player. That might happen today yet

I have a brand new skyjacker 4' raised steering arm I can let you have for cheap if it will fit your application and you want to use it. It has never been on and the axles i bought to replace mine already had a raised one on there.

Bummer but you do run into that quite a bit with custom parts like the Alcans

Went through that mess with them on some FJ40 spring I had done. Never again. I was satisified with the product but their slow service turned me off to them.
I'm not really in too much of a hurry for it. The springs will only be a week later than they told me, and the drop pitman is supposedly back ordered at all the suppliers. Not much I can do there. I was just really hopeing that I could take it to zimmers next week. The only real hurry is getting it out of the shop I borrowed. I dont want to lose the chance to use it in the future.
Let me know too. I'm not far from ClintonWell let me know if you find any good places over there to "lightly" wheel a stock truck.

I seen you just picked up a 2011. Did you get your chair mod done? I'd like to see what a new burb looks like.
It's cut up right now. It's going slow little bit of figureing to do on body lift and lowered floor situation but it looks like 4" on the body clocked the transfer case 19 degrees and test fit me in a couple a weeks. Hopefully it's all good and it will move a long after that. I really need to sell my 02' yukon for $$ but I still need it until the suburban is done. Your trucks looking good I can't wait for the new spring under it.

Ahh man I was all siked for you to have them when you got home. What time did you make it home man? I chilled in the nice sunshine and went about 60 the whole way, took about 2 hours, but it was an awesome drive.
