I think I figured out my hard starting problem too. I was bored N thinking, happend to remember my dad fixing one of our old vehicles. It would turn over fine but wouldnt fire till you let off the key. Ended up being that the switch under the dash on the collum wasnt adjusted right. He loosend the screws on it and slid it down the collum a little bit and it fired right up every time.
So ,, I went out and tried to turn the key in my burb just far enough to turn it over and it fired right off.
I'm going to look into it in the morning, I may end up replacing the switch if it is the problem cause I'm sure its going bad if thats my issue.
Thinking back, my monza did this too.

It seals for now but when it warms up it may drip
I'm gonna change the fluid and filter again in a few weeks so I'm just gonna redo it or get a new deeper pan
I'm batting a thousand on bone head moves lately
Once I knew it was cross threaded It was far too late to save it, So..... I cranked it down GOOD
to prevent leaks you know
