ck5 alaska trip-july 1 2011 to july 11 2011

I'll definitely be on this trip next year. Wish I could have made it again this year. I'm working on the burb every day this week. It will be ready next year.

Yeah I'm going next year for sure too might be in pattys truck but were going

This sounds like a blast! Not sure I can justify the drive there from Colorado though...... Business trip maybe?

I make my own major annual run to Eureka but that is to our own little location. Diana and I will make this run next year. I've spent more time than any of the people that I know in this area, buggies in the summer and sleds in the winter but I still haven't made it out for this run. Next year........

LOL sounds like next year will be a good showing!! might be over our 10 rig max!

Has anyone concidered taking the ferry from washington up to anchorage? :dunno:

I don't know the rates, but it'd save a ton of driving and gas and wear on rigs and tires. just a thought...

Its a good option if your not towing a trailer,(they charge by the foot) and even then you still have a few hundred miles to drive ( including going into canada) and it takes longer but it wold be a fun trip

WE ARE BACK. had a great time,no injuries a few breaks tho.my jimmy is 70 miles from the road broken lol. sheared the studs off the rear axle. well 12 of them.

All my rigs and trailers are ready to roll if you need anything

We're thinking of leaving Friday evening and returning and returning Sunday. We left the tents and tarps setup. Also there is fuel and water there. It's about 8-9 hours in to camp and another 3 hours cross country to the Jimmy.

i just picked up a set of rockwells andag tires for the jimmy.the intercrew will have the jimmys axles and 44s on it for next year.
