If you do get them, get the paint off and paint them with very high temperature paint made for stuff like that.

Ok cool, I just found the HTC coated ones at classic industries. I’m waiting for them to open so I can call and make sure they have them in stock
@folkenheath is always an option if you need help finding parts. I see you found them but he has sources also.
With painted headers, hang them up so you can heat them up really good with a rosebud tip on a oxy/acetylene torch, then spray them with ATF while they are still good and hot. Then let them cool. That will protect them for a good long while longer than paint, imho.
Can anyone tell me what transfer case I have? I can’t find a tag. The shift pattern is 4-low then shifting down is neutral, 2-high, 4-high
np205 gear drive part time . and it has a speedo to vss sensor adapter on it for the speedo you have .

Anyone know the specific make of that VSS? I've got the exact same one sitting around and can't identify it to look up specs.
Stupid easy . Most just need gaskets and seals i have done or torn apart . In the articles section i did a pic by pic of a 203 / 205 doubler build . Make it easy for you to skim and rebuild one .

My headers are finally coming in next week I also ordered an exhaust pipe kit so I can weld all new exhaust system. I also took out my drive line this weekend and got new u joints. I will be dropping transmission and having that rebuilt and attempt to rebuild my transfer case. Man I’m excited the hole drive train will be brand new.

Just ordered the rebuild kit for my transfer case, been watching some videos and seems doable.
What kit ? . . Lots of them do not include the better full complement needle bearing units .
USA standard transfer case bearing and seal kit
Lots of generic kits also do not have the correct thickness gaskets . This can lead to parts to tight or broken adapters.
