So we're still not that much closer to pulling the trigger on anything because the Army is dragging their feet like crazy. Can't do the deed until it's for sure we're headed to 'Bama, or at least the continental US. Otherwise, I'll buy a $60k crew cab truck and find out we're headed back to Hawaii or something
That said, I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row so that when we do get final word I can get going on some stuff so there's no big wait after getting there. One thing I've been thinking about/looking at is trailers. I'd like to go gooseneck, but it's not an absolute necessity. Also, I don't want to just drop a ton of money on one either, seeing as we're buying a spendy a$$ truck

If I didn't mention it, or it wasn't noted I have my blazer to get to wherever we're going, plus a TJ wrangler. My sister left it to me in her will to watch over and fix up for her son once he turns 16. So I've got to get two vehicles from Ohio to Alabama. Once there, I don't see myself towing multiple rigs often, but say I want to get to Blazer Bash next year, I could snag someone else along the way and save somebody some money, etc. So, am I crazy for thinking about a 30+ foot trailer? Should I just plan multiple trips? Is there a place to rent a trailer large enough for two rigs? I know storing a larger trailer is more of a burden. But otherwise, does it hurt to have more trailer than I need for one truck?
One reason I bring it up is I found this
http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/4924535622.html in Akron. I could have a buddy go check it out for me, but I don't know of anyone offhand that has a gooseneck hitch... Plus, I have no way of picking it up in the mean time. Seems like an awful good deal though, even without ramps.
Freaking Army, get your chit together!!!!
