for the most part it will bolt right in I believe. I can't quite remember if chevy went to a one piece rear main in 86 or 85, and it does matter. you would need an adapter if they aren't the same.
Ok how much would that be??
Woo page 2! lol

They went to 1 piece in 86. it will not matter as far as bolting all in, trans, mounts, etc. but the flywheel or flex plate is different. Not sure past that though?
I'm not positive how that gos , but I believe so yeah. people swap between the years all the time and i havent heard of any major things that need done![]()
. I dont know what your funds are like but for 600 more you can have a brand new 260hp 350 from jegs.
to cold to work in the garage still.another thing to think about Dueling is that the Torquer manifold is a single plane and is meant for 2,500-6,000+ rpms....that motor doesn't have the cam, compression or head to use it.....in other words it's not the right manifold for a daily driven truck that will play in the dunes a bit. sorry to say....maybe you can sell off that one and your other one to get the proper intake for YOUR application.
Well ill get the right one for sure. Whats your opinion on a gear drive??
.........i don't see the sense in them and i don't particularly like the whirring noise either....i though we went over this somewhere before.........i don't see the sense in them and i don't particularly like the whirring noise either....
