Wow I got alot done this weekend lol. Lets recap, $400 exhaust system (what they would have charged to bend 2.5" for me) for $80, Got rear window working, and tailgate working. Got the old top off, cleaned up, sanded new topper, got it on and painted, put 4 coats of wax on it, got all my tools in the back instead of on the back seat.

Also got the vans exhaust hooked up and fired that up, should be driving that this week.

And my lady came over at 4 and we hung out all day and she just went home.

All in all I couldnt have asked for a more perfect weekend

Its a real good thing he didnt fubar the stickers. Kert drove like 11 hours to deliver those and then you figure in our hard work to apply them It would have been a catastrophe. By the way what did your dad say about the stickers. you were pretty sure he was gonna freak when he seen them

Haha him along with EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT SEES THEM, asks me what does PIMAX stand for??? I go dang it lol, Kert I really think you should think about redesigning the D in DIY4X because in all honestly it does look like a P lol.


Oh and Dave if you still want that topper let me know, if your just going to cut the sides off i will rip the windows and everything out just so I have some spares in case, along with any seals that are in decent shape.

And Today was the last day of my sophmore year at good old muskegon community lol. TIME FOR SUMMER and to start makin some $$$$$, so i can stick it into the truck lol. I can feel a good summer ahead, great girl, soon to be sweet truck, and lots of new CK5 buddies to go wheelin with!!!

Yes. I was starting to get down about how slow my build is going but then realized how amazing my life is. I have an amazing fiance, I have the finances to have a wedding, and still be able to have a truck just for play, when some people do not even have a vehicle.

Nope no rush dave, I just wanted to know other wise I would throw it on Craigslist, but if you still want it ill hold on to it, but are you still planning on cutting it? Cuz ill take the windows off.


Oh and today I was at work and I looked out at my truck and I noticed a nice stream coming down the rear pass tire. I was like ****!!!!! lol. Crawled under it and luckily just brake fluid. I replaced the driver side wheel cylinder when I bought the truck because it was leaking, and I have no Idea why i didnt buy the other sides, $8 for a new one lol. So I checked the fluid after work and carefully drove home (only 2 miles or so) and took my brothers car to auto zone. Replaced it in 15 min lol. Musta been a record haha.

couple 30's huh, well its probably to late to make sense of you now then, but when you read this, yeah take the windows out if you want em, and you can hack it off about 1" BELOW the upper window frame all the way around....if you can try not to cut above that point all the way around. If you want to leave it intact other than the windows thats cool too.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with wheel cylinders anymore. Discs all the way around wooohooo!!! Every wheel cylinder I have ever replaced I end up snapping the heads on the bolts or the brake line.

I agree, I put disks on the rear of my regal last summer, and now I don't have a vehicle with drums anymore.

Lol yah it was a good time got all the trucks washed and lined em up for a pic before we got too stupid

My camera started being stupid after I dropped it lol, so I just dropped it again and it works fine!! haha
