Glad it all worked out Adam, the pictures look good and it sound like the truck was running and handling great. :waytogo:

Now go put your hood back on. :haha:

Why? Quick access to everything, and visual of engine bay for smoke etc.

And it ran cooler.

I was totally joking. Do not put hood louvers on. Maybe a cowl hood.

Hell, for that matter............Haters gonna hate...........You rock that no hood like a boss.

Never seen anybody give sbd a hard time about it....
You gotta paint your shock hoops bright green to get away with it though and he's old and wouldn't listen anyway.:haha:

Actually, doesn't he run a hood again now?

Why? Quick access to everything, and visual of engine bay for smoke etc.

And it ran cooler.

Because it looks like crap with the hood off.

Seriously though, how do you know it ran cooler, have you ever ran it with the hood on and the timing set? Maybe it ran cooler because its not so lean and it has the correct timing?

I think the hood is just bad luck. Every time I put it on, I find myself taking it back off to work under there.

So for now Ill keep the good juju rolling :D

I understand your logic. I took my wheel wells out for trimming fenders, didnt want to put them back in because I was tired, and 5 years later they got scrapped.
