I want to lift my truck anyways. And im only gonna be running 33s. Between me and my buddies my trucks gonna be the runt without a lift so i want it to sit a little higher so it doesnt look completely stupid lol. Even though they will both have 6" lifts.

Do whatever you want man, its your truck. Trimming for most guys is the easy route, especially if they're getting twisted up in the rocks or something. But for what I think you are going to use your truck for, just getting the lift is going to be more than enough.
