There are many ways. For me when the spring gets completely flat is where my bumps are going to be. That was something I never did on my k5, and I killed the springs real quick on the dunes. All those whoops causing the spring to do a negative arch.

Thats what I thought but my alcan fronts CAME flat. I would think the longer ones would work for those. but the rears I'll have to look at. thanks and hijack off

Well arent stock fronts negative, smaller lifts flat then bigger ones are arched correct? And no hijack, its a good point that i prolly woulda overlooked

Yes. Stock is a slight frown while the weight of the truck is on it. 2.5" is typically flat, and 4" and up have an arch to them.

However in Shady's case because he has custom stuff like Alcans he probably has a thick pack made up of many thin leaves so it's got less arch to it. Less arch + thicker pack = better ride and flex. The pack is more willing to move than a more arched pack.

Idk it wont let me save and upload his pics but post #52 here Jamber2541's rig. I like that cage alot, maybe move the rear hoop 6" back or so for better head room. And if we got any toooooob left add some of dat triangulation stuff daves talkin about
