So I ran out and got the last roof bar shortened up and tacked them all in. I added a bar behind the rear seat, and a piece of 1" is fitted but not tacked at the floor of the c pillar. This will have some extensions coming forward off of it that will bolt to the floor for tool box and cargo tie downs etc.
Personally I impressed myself with how tight all my joints were lol. For my first real cage build that actually requires measuring and keeping things square, I was very happy.

Lol, i have no doubt I could link it no problem, I just dont feel a need to replace a setup I know already works well.
Im saving all the designs and measurments of the bent pieces for later builds
Id love to build some more, but people around here would want all this expecting to pay like $300 for it lol.

How are you notching, hole saw or chop saw? I am leaning towards chop saw whenever I finally get started on my cage in a month or so.

Using a sharpie and a notcher. Ive looked at the chop saw method, and IMO the notcher is just so simple. Im using a JD2 notcher that is $$$, but i bet you could get the same results from the $60 or so woodward fab notcher, which IIRC does 60 degrees, where this maxes out at 50.

I have the JD2 notcher too. I've heard the cheap ones wear out quick and get wobbly. I've done some coping with a chop saw, a grinder, a belt sander...notcher wins hands down.
