Im hoping that the bushings will make this much less. Ive ridden in daves many times, and it never seemed bad. But his 496 probably hid the cage noise if there was any

I'm glad you mentioned this.. Is there any way to dampen that? Like undercoating on the bars or partial fill with expanding foam?

No, but his poop did.
I doubt it would stop the noise, but here's an idea from dirtbikes. We would fill the first 4" of handle bar (like where the grips are) with silicone. Helped a little with vibrations. There are even companies with end caps that have "anti vibration" gizmos in them.

They filled my can with those at dune party last summer. I ripped the whole interior out to do cage, and I'm still finding them falling out of the dash lol
No on the foam working. Been there, tried that. Failed.
Part of my issue is, zero rubber or isolators in the suspension. Those things are for street cars.

Well dang.. Might have to try silicone from Home Depot..
a simple box of u bolts arrived and I had to grin at the abundant amount of green nuts.
So lesson of the day. Make sure the round thingy goes through both holes of the U shaped thingy, otherwise you get to spend a half an hour straightening it back out........ (this pic was about halfway through the process of pounding it back... It was way worse when i started lol)
After that i made stuff.
And just so people don't question me, no there is no magic notching machine im using, my best method I have found for big angles, is to max the notcher out at 50 degrees, and then use that profile to extend the notch. Then once I get it to fit good, I draw the cut onto the next tube and that one always takes about 1/10th the time of the first....
