Deuling's 1985 K5. "Restart thread on post #8415"

mark your tires/rim with a paint pen, we did this with slicks at the track to make sure they weren't spinning on the rims.

I don't know about anyone else but I've never been able to get a true balance out of any tires over 33". We do get them close that they wear well on my DD.

They work fine every time I get them balanced. Go to the dunes and come back, weights are still all on, but had one 12oz out the last time. He ripped all the weights off, re balanced, and was nice and smooth.

Go to dunes, repeat.

I didn't think the water heater would have enough oomph to spin them in the tire, but maybe at 10 psi, it is a possibility?

Have you tried airsoft BBs yet?

dammit man

10,000 ct bucket of .20g airsoft BB
cut 4 ways
dump in tires, don't do ANY weights, they just get in the way later
be happy
all I've ever done 4 years running 38s and 37s.
New 40s will have them too but probably 3,000- 3,500 each

And yes, I'll bet the bank the rims are spinning.

Also, de-fang the fenders and fix that exhaust. I'll also bet the bank you'll enjoy driving it more. (and I'll enjoy looking at it more) :D

Im going home and going to bed. So that I can hopefully get up and go to work so I can go home and go to bed tomorrow.

Maybe ill try some things this weekend if im feeling better.

I would like to redo the exhaust, but I still have not figured out what I want to run. I hate cackly flowmasters, maybe ill do the thrush welded ones. Nothing will ever sound as good as open supertrapps in my brain. They were by far my favorite.
