DJz Blazer

Probably the closest I can think of, SponsoredByDad's dune running 1st gen cage work:
https://ck5.com/forums/threads/new-cage-work-shock-install.276252/

Here are a couple other cages, but not from a pre-runner standpoint.

For a first gen you can start here on NorCal69's build, post 252:

For a '77 Gen IronMaiden's cage starts here, post 1696:

Did you buy the four shifter combo?

Martin

No. I need to get the tons under it, steering brace and plates, and would really like my new seats mounted which translates into a cage. I want to see how it drives with the 5:13s before I do anything with gearing. Calculators show it running about 2800 rpm at 60, which is fine for me.

When you log in to the home page and see the pictures of Blazers and features pop up pictures at the top of the page.
Is there a build anywhere on the old Blazer in the "Massive media galley" pop up picture???
That thing is sweet!

Is that a real model? Bungee corded hood and mismatched fenders. I don't think they thought too highly of the blazer
Yep. I have yet to open it thing cost me like 70 bucks. I bought it while stalking my present Blazer. It sits with my impending avalanche of models waiting to be built.

Said avalanche..

I built most of the 934 and kinda burnt out on the detail. Making my Rubicon pass Ultra4 tech was less extensive.:crazy:

Guess I wasn't the only one interested in this...
It's exactly what I want mine to look like. I have the same tires, 35 Nitto's coming. I'll probably run some Raceline Monsters, non beadlock in satin aluminum.

For what it's worth, I absolutely hated that style of pump bracket. It sits really low and close to the frame, and having to remove a motor mount bolt to take it off sucks! Unless you are trying to retain it for originality's sake, I'd ditch it for a different style.

I agree. I have a PSC high pressure pump from the donor Blazer. I'm just to lazy to relocate the alternator to the other side of the motor.
I'll do it when I install the 60 and the 2x steering box. I blew my back out a month ago and have been pretty laid up. It's spring, I need some sun and fun!!

I might even take off the top..:D

I just dealt with that PS issue myself. I just bent the tube slightly down and out to where I wanted it.

I thought about that. There is not enough tube after the bend to get the near 90 degrees I would have needed and then not much left for a hose clamp.

And the pressure out on the pump is male. I have a new male pressure hose....
And another week...
This has been kicking my ass since March, I'm kinda embarrassed..
Back did take me out for the last month though.

I totally forgot about that pressure out. I had to swap pieces with my old pump to fit the new hose I had got. I had a male out and the pump came with a female out and a fitting to male which made it too long. I just don't know why manufactures change things up like that. What a pain in the ****
