Does it find the ECM and connect ok? I had no problem getting mine connected. I even changed the base map once after that and no issues.
I am shocked that you are having problems!

I think that it took me a few minutes to enter the ECM address numbers correctly, but then I was good to go. I had to read the book 2 or 3 times.

over 1.5 hrs and 4 times to try and upload a tune and nothing has worked .

any other pro flo 4 guys got a idea ? @6872xtc

@Bent77 and i have already talked on the phone .
Funny thing... I'm having the same exact issue. Will pair, go through the settings for cubic inch, firing order, injectors, etc then it just stays at loading and never gets past 0%. I see it communicates all the sensors in the gauges so bluetooth is working. I've waited like 30 minutes and tried it 2 more times. Power cycled my android and ecu.

Pro-flo 4 35770
Android is Note 9 with latest Edelbrock update.

fixed it i think .

said screw it on the wizard setup .

main screen .
ecu settings .
load map .
hit check mark after reading the warning .
select pro-flo 4 .
then pick the cal # you want and it will start to load as you answer the ignition firing order setting .

then i would assume you can change the cid setting later in the program under settings . i have yet to get this far . and i cant say it works 100% . but i did this and it loaded up in around 45 sec .

@Shawn good forum over there nice people and solid employee presents .

Still think it's a glitch in the revision. Especially knowing the serial numbers with mine being newer than yours and no glitch loading on the old EP4 tuner software

funny thing is @Shawn posted in my thread i started on the edelbrock forum today . nate s over there will chime in and help or pin point the problem as he is a big programmer / tuner guy in engineering department by the sounds of it .

another guy already posted up a display reading glitch and nate s was right on top of it .

Will it let you set base timing of 12 degrees? I'm going to get a few more things done so it's ready to start tomorrow. My neighbors are going to love me with no mufflers. :D

Also... I was at my speed shop last Thursday and some guy was looking over the Holley Sniper kit with the owner of the store. Thinking of all the problems you had, I almost told the guy to walk away but didn't want to piss off the shop owner from losing a sale since I go there alot for last minute fittings I need and it's the only speed shop in town.

Just put up a lemonade stand. All proceeds buy mufflers

heard this story a LOT in the past month . 1 friend almost got banned from f-b for this sticker pic .

and i am sure you can go in to timing and set the 12* there .

Then someone will call the cops on me for no business license. Just saw that shit today on TV
Some bitch called cops on 15 year old girl selling lemonaid with no license.

I have 3" mufflers just need to get them welded in with stainless pipe

Oh you must live “in” Denver lol

Yeah, easy to set it at 12*

@sweetk30 - Have a you figured out where to set your engine displacement? Can't seem to find it after loading the map as you suggested.

Also upgraded to firmware version 53 from 49. Setup Wizard still does not load map. Not a big deal if we can do all the settings somewhere else, just wanted to see if the firmware version had something to do with it.

I just went through demo mode on my tablet and one of the first few questions in the set-up wizard was engine displacement. My tablet has the newer version, it automatically updated. I did do the initial settings and fire up with my phone and the first version and it worked well.
This has me curious.

Yeah I think it has something to do with the latest Edelbrock software release 4.0.0:6. I'm tempted to see what happens if I try to go back a version or two. But I have so many other things to work on I think I may wait and see what Nate at Edelbrock finds.

This is what it shows after 30 minutes of waiting. 0 percent

@Shawn you and me are so linked for same timing as i just posted on edelbrock site and now here .

same thing no wizard . couldnt find a cid setting other than wizard .

but here is were i am at for now tho .

well it fired up and we set timing and verified it after a 180* t-stat cycle or 2 and she is locked on 12* on the tablet in settings and verified with timing light set at 12*btdc .

i think i have a dead spark plug from the old carb i was using and running bad so i am going to go get a set of plugs and install them as she has a dead skip and smells of fuel .

also monday we need to figure out the lack of a setup wizard option working . as it still shows the 323 cid engine and 58 psi fuel pressure on the setup wizard .

the tablet display is showing 37-38psi at 700 rpm and blip the throttle she jumps to 44 psi .

i got other problems !

new plugs = no change in skip in engine .
pulled 1 plug wire each and listened for a change or fell all but 6/8 made major change in running . 6/8 also are firing spark to the plug at least .
pulled 1 injector plug each for the same test and 6/8 no real change but the rest major change .

diagnostic mode shows green all 8 injectors .

my buddy is going to stop back up with his leak down tester and comp tester and we will get to the bottom of this with this test .

never skipped this bad or at all i could tell before the pro flo 4 install . the old used 750 edelbrock carb was fine other than little rich and no choke hooked up but wired open . and the sniper didn't skip like this in the beginning ether .

@Bent77 @Shawn @6872xtc

Until you get the correct map loaded into it you are fighting the computer problems likely much more than the engine itself

I’m presuming you and @Shawn have tried every method possible to get the correct map loaded?
