EZO's Build Thread - Recipe for disaster... BUMPSTOPS, rough draft version 1.0

Sorry guys no big updates really. The rig got put on the back burner for a few months...

I do antique tractor pulling as a hobby too and the old Farmall needed some attention!

Here is what I have been working on... :D

Nice piston.

Is that an H? Grandpa was an International man and had many older models on his farm. Had one of the very small Internationals of similar styling but with a single front wheel, one like that, and another that was similar but with an actual front axle with the front tires out apart from each other.

My Farmall is a model M, bigger than an H. Your grandfathers very small Farmall was probably a Cub. Those tractors came from the factory with all kinds of different front ends depending on what you wanted to do with them.

Well OK... Here we go again, 8 months later...

Got my new radiator and F*rd Windstar fans mounted up. Along with the transmission and power steering coolers.

New Headers are on the way and will be here this week. Need to run transmission cooler hoses and work on under hood wiring some more. I removed my blower motor / AC unit from the firewall. Might move my battery to the firewall, but not sure just yet. Will hopefully get the engine compartment mostly done in the next couple weeks.

Man its been a while - this project has been on the back burner for long enough!
Now that the weather is warm enough to spend some time in the shop.... FINALLY!

Ordered up my Walker Evans wheels and the Atlas II 5:1 t-case...

More build pics to come sooooon!

I opted for the Atlas II 5:1 with flanges and the ebrake setup instead of a doubler, hopefully I will be happy with it. (it was expensive)

Unmounted and testing out their new home!

I will be workin on the truck tonight some. Expect some new pics!

Your build is excellent! Exactly what I'm attempting, except I'm using a V3500 long bed as my donor.

OK finally got my Ballistic springless arm and cap. I already mounted up an ORD crossover arm on the passenger side, but I don't want to take a chance with even having a little death wobble... I will be selling the ORD crossover steering arm (it will be a good deal) :D

I ordered up the alloy kingpin bushings from c&m performance also, they are on backorder but should be here in a few weeks so I can rebuild my kingpins with no springs and put the Ballistic stuff on. Oh and I won't be using those little plastic bushings either, so I will have 4 of them to get rid of.... anybody, anybody? ;)

Here is a pic of the Ballistic fab stuff:

Okay, what do the little plastic bushings do?

Very nice build.
Yall make me fell better to see I'm not the only one took years to do a build.
