Lookin really good, and damn you guys still have an assload of snow around!

its been a long and cold winter. i,m eletric freezing now 15 below C every morning last week. burnt my last piece of wood friday,4 cords of hard wood up in smoke. went snowmobiling this afternoon with wife. left from my yard to a friends suger camp. 1hrs round drive must of seen 15 deers. its so cold he hasn,t made any syrup yet,he,s hoping on mild weather next week. here,s a picture of his evaporator ,it takes 40 gals of maple water for 1 gal of syrup.

Wow...we're lookin at bustin out the mower soon. Weird winter for us, we'd have two weeks of real cold and a little snow, then two weeks well above freezing, then back to cold again. In mid february it was warm enough long enough that we had no snow except in the shady areas. Been snow free since mid-March now. Supposed to hit mid to high 60's today...

today was a nice day went up to 10 C. as long as the bay is frozen no warm weather. spent all afternoon in a skating rink, wife had here figure skating show. there annoucing rain all week, with some possible flurries. wife still running on nails ,hope we can install here summer tires soon.
