ford truck 1942

oh yeah! i didn,t know mr brown much. my dad new him well. he must of past in the early 90. i remember him coming to our garage. his wife was a regular customer i knew her better. his boy i know well too. they have a farm in the village west of ours, maybe 8 miles away.
That's pretty cool having a personal connection and a back story on a vehicle your working on.

i was wanting to repair my horn, don,t know really how to test one! not sure where this horn comes from! its not a ford horn by my researching. heres the pictures i have.

truck always leaned to the left ,i new it had an accident was hoping frame was ok. left spring even had an extra leaf but it leaned .but i had never noticed they were thinner leafs on the left side until now.

That thing have some equipment permanently mounted on the right side at some point?

put a few more hours. i had bought a old frame ,i got good spring hangers on it and made 2 good front sping leafs. i will pobably be using the donor front axle ,my king pin is loose in the axle! good drag link and tie rods. no pictures but removed all my spring hangers. i got a order placed for spring bushing and pins, kingpin set. steering box bushing and seal kit, plus a few different parts. should be starting cab body work while i wait on my parts.
whats left on the old frame, kind of happy it was crack after the repairs i did last winter on mine!

my loot!

windsheild and motor are out.

Wow looks great Brian!
Nice progress

thanks guys , was a long process! one last weekend to work on it ! then a break till next winter, house chores and other summer projects. remember my f700 rene, here where its at last sunday.

Holy jeepers, still that much snow hanging around! We're cooking here, 29 C today and supposed to be the same or hotter through the rest of the week. I'm not complaining, it's just so early. We smashed about 20 different weather records in April too.
