Fuel Pump Access hatch

Both the Suburban and Blazer in the pics were centered in the floor left to right.
Fixing to do the pump tomorrow, I was going to be idealistic and drop the tank but I got gas 2 days ago. 40 gallon tank and all my garage cans are full, so the zip wheel is coming out.
Its nice to have the hatch. The quality of pumps has been questionable lately, even with brand name parts. Fakes are out there too.
What a pain. The hole was the easy part but the Vortec pump had different connectors and the base is different but its done. Starts the same we will see if there is a difference on the road.
I'd like to do this but I hate the thought of cutting through my pretty line-X.
