I got to use one of these this weekend at HumpNBump to weld my buddies trailing arm back together. I’ve always wanted a trail welder, but didn’t like the idea of having to disconnect all my battery connections and being tied to the truck. Needless to say, this will be my next purchase. I was Very impressed.

Weird. I have used it 3 times today. Each time, a little voice from somewhere has done that. I look around and no one is there.

I had the werner one too, and it was fine for my weight. However it didn't hold up well to the weight of the crewcab backing up over it......

Home Depot has the Gorilla platforms that are rated for 300lbs, but they are more expensive. But I do like it a little better.
