Already have the sending unit on hand!!

twoslo4fiveo..... NO!:haha: It will have to stay full bodied for a bit. Got some stuff to R and D that requires all the sheetmetal to be in place. Oh, and street legal!!!

Aw man, I'd be on that like stink on poo! :deal:

Hey Mike, It's sooo clean!

One of the reasons I don't want to cut. Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid to move some sheetmetal but I like a good clean truck too.

Aluminum fuel tanks are a for sure thing!

I know where you could probably sell another fuel tank too...

And that is a clean truck for sure. Did you guys pick it up out west?

bed bob and taper

as soon as I saw it thats what I was thinking too. If you made a kit with templates of where to cut and braces/patch panels and such I bet people would buy it.

I think a kit to box the frame would be killer too. Mines only been out 4 times and I can see the frame starting to buckle a little bit by the front spring swing shackle.

Ballpark size?

We'll for sure be doing a standard tank to fit inside the frame rails in the rear. As much capacity as space will allow. Of course we'll be doing alot of custom stuff along this line. I don't think there is anyway to do standard tanks that will fill the need for everyone.

Are you planning on making a new skid to fit the new tanks?

Sort of made to order-ish? I'd love a low profile tank & skid that would still use the OE gauge and filler. I would think something in the 15~20 gal range should be plenty for a days worth of wheeling. I absolutely hate the way my factory 31 gal hangs down so low but I don't want anything inside the cabin because my kids will be in the back seat.

X2 I'd love a 20 gallon tank that gave me more ground clearence and more axle clearance

definitly a 700r to 205 combo.... i know everyone HATEs the 700 but personally for a DD wheeler.. its the BEST out there when built right.. a 205 behind em would be really great.

If you could incorporate cable shifters in this build that would be great. I know alot of people would like a reasonably priced 203/205 cable shifter setup or maybe just a 205 cable shifter setup

THAT IS THE TICKET KURT. everyone complains about the NWF stuff. If you can make twin and triple stick cableshifters for less than NWF or for the same price as non cable you'll be sellin them like hotcakes.

Here's where I was planning on getting parts when the time came to make my own http://www.midwestcontrol.com/
