GsxrMike's build thread...Frostbite 2011 Pictures are in!

The materials are 2x3 tube about 1/8 thick and 3/8" plate for the rest.

I worked most of the day yesterday and got both half doors finished. The only other thing I have to do is fill the holes where the old door handle was and fill them up with expanding foam to keep the chit out and paint. So much for being finished...

I got both rockers about done! I also picked up two more racing seats and two, 4 point harnesses and a 16 gallon fuel cell with sender, all for $200. I also ordered new hub and rotor assemblies from gmpartsdirect for my dana 60. That was suppose to be phase III but I got exited and bought them. OOPS! Sorry honey!

Got more done...

Steering brace in! :DI almost have the exhaust done. A couple of hangers and clamps and whaalaa!:D I received my hub/rotor assemblies from the fedex man today! I also trimmed my rear drive shaft down myself about 1". Not sure how bad it is going to wobble but we will find out. :o Pics for your pleasure...

OH BABY! We got the body back on tonight! I am going to have to cut the floor out in a couple of spots but it shouldn't be to big of a deal.

Not yet but I will be next year for sure! Is there any good wheeling up your way? My mom and stepdad just moved up to la vista.

I actually moved back home, and there is hardly anywhere to offroad. Everything here is corn/bean fields. Tuttle Creek is a ball though. I will have to buck up and drive down there again one of these weekends.

I got some goodies today!

I got part of my floor cut out last night to clear the clocked transfer case and support.

In the pic: B&M trans temp gauge, trans fittings, 3 point harnesses, moab heater, heater duct kit, some relays to wire my head lights, and an advance kit for my dizzy although I think it is the wrong one.

I got a little bit more done. I had to cut a hole in my floor to clear the transfer case and the support bar. I got the fuel pump installed, and the tranny temp gauge sender installed. Then I broke a fitting off inside the tranny. I got it out though! Pics for you viewing pleasure.

what fuel pump is that? Is it loud? And how much did it run you?

I need to put an electric fuel pump in when I put in the new engine I'm building, just looking for options.

It is a holly "blue" pump. They are around $130 at most auto parts stores. I have mine mounted side ways because it wouldn't fit upright. They are loud as hell! That is why I have it bolted down to a antivibration pad.

Now I understand why you need that heater...
