Thanks! I probably could have used square tube and saved some time, but I have a bunch of pieces of this 1.625 DOM from that extra cage I picked up last year.
I wanted to keep everything on a single crossmember as per Stephen's recommendations. Everything is tucked up nice and high.
I'll get it wire wheeled tomorrow. It was super hot when I finished burning everything in!
Ok! Phew it's been a busy few days. Got a bonus snow day off of work so I got some extra done on Monday. Here is catch up from the last few days. Such a simple task installing the case, but feels like a huge step completed.
As a bonus the crossmember didn't fold up when I removed the jack and the hoist!

Didn't work on much this weekend. Just enjoyed the crazy snow storm. Did get a little bit of arts and crafts in with the new tunnel cover.
Ordered a bunch of AN fittings, clamps, and weather pack connectors so I can focus on making this thing run and possibly move again.
Also found a 1410 companion flange that matches the HAD output flange so hopefully I can use the front shaft that came with the Trazer. I still have my CV setup from the previous drivetrain too. Both are long slip so hopefully one of them is right.

Got the hydro cooler mounted, fuel lines put together, and started on some gauge wiring.

What would I hook it to? My Mojave heater is like 340 CFM. How many psi is that?

Love geting home from work and opening new parts! Misc wiring stuff. Clamps, trans pan bung, LEDs for the gauges, vent line hose and I'm gonna give this flux core stainless wire a try on my exhaust. Reviews are mixed.
Oh and I got this tube tool from Jason Howerton @ pnkages. Seems pretty slick. Holds a digital angle finder, has lines for marking every 90° around the tube, setup for straight, and 45° cuts.

Will do. It was cheap enough I figure it was a handy tool to pick up. I only grabbed a 1.75" one
Little but more done today before work.
Nothing much picture worthy today. Got most of the engine harness hooked back up and wires ran for oil pressure and tach.
Used my new weather pack crimpers and added a plug for the fuel sender.
Got the 400 pan on and cable shifter hardware installed.
Front calipers and lines are on. I gotta loosen the lines up and change the orientation. They might be a little long.
Also got the flanges installed.

I did clean up the last several months of grinding, drilling, and cutting debris. Pulled all my steel outside to sweep where it sits.

Trans tunnel is done, but not painted or installed.
Pulled the crossmember because the more I looked at it the more I disliked how I build it so it's on the bench getting an overhaul with how it mounts. Trying to keep everything tucked up still is a challenge.
With the 205 flat and the old crossmember I have 4* up at the front output and 4* down at the rear. Driveshafts are 40 and 42 inches with 19* shaft angle static.

It was a really productive day until I went to bolt the crossmember in. Two of my new tubes need to be clearanced for the Eco foot.. ugh. It's like 1/2" that needs to be removed off a corner.
So it'll come back out. Maybe tomorrow. Have the boy visiting this weekend so not sure I'll get much shop time.
