DIY4x dash fitted and fitted and trimmed and fitted and painted and painted and installed.

I have some small plates that will cover the openings for the tubes that run through the dash. I got all stainless steel hardware for everything.

Cleaned up the floor underneath this mess today. Got the front tires back on and set it down off of stands for the first time in awhile. Then I made a huge mess

Would have got the motor out today, but I sat on the couch drinking coffee half the morning. Everything is unhooked and the chain is connected. It shall be out tomorrow.

Pick up my 205 on Fri so that'll need cleaned up and the twin stick rails and 32 spline front output installed.
New motor mounts. Is the ORD crossmember worth it?
Clean up/paint motor and trans
Assemble trans and Eco box (still have to press the sun gear in) Need to build a crossmember still.
Headers or Keep the manifolds. The Chinese $80 headers are intriguing. .
Exhaust. I found a couple 2.5" and 3" 409 Stainless builder kits on ebay too. Band clamps
Heater and gauge wiring
rear tube work
engine cage/exo (note to self install windshield first)
Weld 14B tubes install torque arm
Rear discs
Lights/more wiring
E-fans and radiator/more wiring

Sometimes it feels like I am going the wrong way LOL.

I couldn't deal with how dirty the engine and firewall is. Mounts need replaced so the motor is out. Not doing anything to it. Clean/paint/reinstall.
Got my new 205 on Friday. Clean it up, install modded rails, 32 spline front output, new seals, and gaskets.
Picked up a D44 from KennyW to rob my rear disc parts from.

This came inside exactly 1 year ago today.. Ugh I will get to posting some updates soon. Hopefully I get some time this weekend. I m actually putting things together vs taking them apart which is slower, but more gratifying.

Hmm ok so I am trying to sort through pictures right now and organize everything. It'll probably be out of ordr, but we'll get caught up!

So I had the new 205 on the floor and pulled the engine for the new motor mounts. This is kinda where cleaning and OCD took over on parts. Way more stuff than anticipated got cleaned and painted. TBI got cleaned and rebuilt. Got my DIY rear disc stuff in and some 8 lug hubs.

It's all worth it when you start putting things back together though. Eco Box, 205 rebuilt with new 32 spline front output. Bunch of other clean and painted pieces.

Also pulled the front pump and removed the broken plastic breather tube. I drilled and tapped the hole for a 1/4 NPT barb. New gasket and front pump TC seal as well.

I found out while assembling the Eco box that a 12 ton press is not sufficient. Next closest one I could find was 175 ton. That was a bit scary LOL. Anyway got the sun gear pressed in and mocked everything up.

Also cleaned and painted the trans and got the AN fittings installed for the cooler lines.

Lets see. Random other stuff that got worked on. I got the dash plates finished up and installed over the holes for the roll cage tubes.

I got bump can mounts done on the front. Cant find a picture.

Lots of cleaning on the frame rails, firewall, and cowl and engine stuff. Made a larger aluminum heat shield for the starter. Headers fit good. I'll have to get creative with angles at the collectors, but not too bad.

If those headers are coated on the inside as well you are not going to need a heat shield.

Few more pics I added some "hoist" points on the 205 plate to make install easier. Got the Orbital mounted, and XJ shaft installed. Mocking up the crosdmcross plans. Think I'm going to clock the 205 up one more notch.

Anybody know what size bolts are on the ends of the XJ shaft. I seemed to have misplaced mine somewhere in the dozen coffee cans of nuts and bolts.

If those headers are coated on the inside as well you are not going to need a heat shield.

They are just stainless
