"Hardcore" 89 (Black and Blue). IT RUNS, DRIVES, AND STOPS. BUILD ON HOLD

Looks good, jealous you got yours installed before I did

It's been installed, but I didn't like the old crossmember design. I'm not sure if it was fine or not, but it seemed like a lot of stuff unsupported.

Also mine doesn't run yet so lol.

Original crossmember design. I was trying to keep things tucked up on the frame, but this new one will be better.

I know @blazinzuk will give you more grief here, but there probably aren't many nuns in your neighborhood

Don't let the foot on the case trip you up. You've been making good progress

It'll be a quick fix getting it out and trimming the two pieces. Getting it back in is a little tedious. My 15 year old is visiting and he's sick so not getting done this weekend.

Reminds me of my bachelor days car parts in my bedroom

They don't get to stay there long, but thats the den or second living room right by the front door. I work nights so everthing gets delivered while I am at work. She just stacks it all there for me LOL

Haven't really done much on this all summer between camping, fishing, and work.

Rear axle and springs are out.
Perches removed from rear axle and new ones are ready to go on.
Anti wrap stuff is ready to go on when perches get set.

My dilemma is that I drilled the rubber bushings out of the 63/64 rear springs and now I can't find poly replacements.
The rear springs are 61 5/8" eye to eye, 63.5" along the main leaf. One spring eye is 1.66" (42.1mm) and the other is 1.93" (49.0mm)

Ha anyone ever seen this?

Do you know what the springs are from/for? Mine are Tuff Country 5" lift half ton springs but they had stickers on them still. I don't know measurements on them at all. I am running poly greasable bushings from ORD. If I remember right I just had to call them about the bushings cuz I think they run different ones depending on if they are factory or aftermarket springs or something like that.

I looked on their site and the 1.66" you got sounds pretty close to a regular 43 mm 64" spring eye which is close to 1.7". If you cant find a bushing for the other end you could always sleeve it down to the same size as the smaller eye.

If you know what vehicle the springs are from you can refer to the energy suspension catalog for part numbers with bushing specs.

Unpacked all my boxes at least.

I got that same battery crimper set from amazon. Have you used it yet?
I will say I like them a lot. More so because I like having custom routed cables. Be careful when you crimp because it’s not a clean pinch. You end up with a pretty decent lip left over. I just hide it under the heat shrink.

I've looked all over. They are 63/64 inch springs, but everywhere I look it seems they all have the same spring eyes and these have two different ones.
