"Hardcore" 89 (Black and Blue). IT RUNS, DRIVES, AND STOPS. BUILD ON HOLD

Always awesome when tons of prep work falls together to make some serious progress.
Looks good man.

Yeah it was a good day. Had the youngest boy out there with me so it worked out well as there was lots of big progress.

Last night I didn't get squat done. Did a perfect double flare for the hard lines. Forgot the nut. Went inside.

More big progress this weekend!

Hard lines are done. The brake system is once again a closed circuit.

Got the tires put on and this thing is a once again a roller except with completed suspension and axles.

Bought all my fluids. 205 and Eco are filled up.

Started on some exhaust work. I got this Speedway builder kit and some V band clamps. 3 bolt flanges on the headers are getting removed for V band clamps. I got a bunch of pie cut pieces as well. Getting the exhaust around the front shackle hangers is going to be a bit of work.

Lastly I got this exo cage set down in place to figure out how to tie into the B pillar.

The list gets shorter. Need to get the headers installed so I can get the PS pump installed. The exo holds the PS reservoir and radiator so that needs to be installed. Fuel lines, Battery relocation, gauges, and E fans and this thing should start and run again which is my main goal right now.

Little custom exhaust work before dinner tonight.

Got the flanges cut off the headers and the V bands mocked up.

Also started on the start of the Y pipe. The pie cuts sure make the tight bends nice.

After removing and installing the headers 4-5 times I realized I may have set the exo cage on before I was ready lol.

Didn't get anything done tonight.

If you haven't been to the lounge lately, I'm retiring from the Navy this summer and coordinating a huge move.

Meet with a realtor tonight. Got some rough timelines figured out.

Basically have to figure out how to finish this thing... "Finish" aka make moveable as possible as well as move 25000 lbs of household goods, 4 other vehicles, plan a 3500 mile family vacation, and start over in life beginning in August.

House will get listed in March. The 19th. That's 22 weeks to get it all figured out.
