How much front driveshaft slip?

so, got the truck up on the RTI ramp today. I am at 35 inches static. 36 inches with passenger stuffed and 38 inches with driver stuffed. The issue that I hadn't been taking into consideration was the spring wrap I am getting with the 52's. Those springs are pretty worn out. It is time for some ORD springs. I have some video from underneath while I drive the ramp and the amount of flex is incredible.

My driveline guy has been super appreciative of the patience I have shown with this and is hooking me up. He is going to completely retube the shaft and put the splines down off the yoke and the slip on the driveline. This will remove the overlap issue I am having. It will be an agricultural spline shaft.

To flex the front you need to back up the RTI ramp. Works much better

Well you'll definitely have enough slip now by God, that thing is massive. Where did you source it, your builder or somewhere else?

Its an AG slip. Builder sourced it. Says it is a absolute PITA to cut. lol

2wd ford f-150 57" springs for the cheap win.

$240 for a pair of springs with bushings that will pull 12" of static travel with a shackle flip.

You go drop $1000 on deavers and tell me they make you that happy lol.

While I agree with you and OrD having the sauce I still think at least calling Jeff is worth just talking to him. You will spend less because no shipping and he can adjust it should you not like something.. in corona.
