How will my K5/truck look with xx" tires on xx" of lift?

I realize it's not popular to say outloud in this day of low slung, rock crawlers but I'm old school... I love the stance in this pic, looks like a real brute. :pimp:

thanks John, ya, it definitely isnt low, and even when i do some changes it probably still wont fall under that "low rock crawler" status, but that is ok with me cuz i will have fun with it

How "low" are you going? I know what you mean, mine has turned out to be taller than what I thought but I like it. :D

I think i'm going to throw a set of 4" lift 52's up front instead of the 8" lift ones that are there now, and possibly throw a set of 3" lift 64's out back, and removing the 1.5" zero-rate too. So hopefully it will sit a good 4-6" lower in the front and probably 2" in there rear, since is sits lower now anyway. It will still sit a little high but i think it will be better overall and i will still be able to run the 44's.

I threw a set of 8" 52's I had laying around the shop under my truck and they are freaking huge :eek1:

1985 M1028 CUCV
Front - 5-1/2" Superlift springs
Rear - ORD 4" shackle flip with 6" HD shackles for 5-1/2" lift
325/85R16 Michelin XML (39"x13") tires

Tires rubbed while turning and stuffed the fender back when trying to flex, so I did a little trimming. Trimmed just enough to keep the inner fenders. Following some advice from here, I made a pattern from the front and cut the same on the rear. When using the body line as a guide, this made the wheelwells the same height front and rear. No rubbing now.

All i did to the steering was put in a raised steering arm and cut an inch off one of the ends of the drag link because the ends bottomed out against eachother moving the axle so far forward.
