I used bolts to hold down the back.

The hinge with modified spring bushings.

Hinge opened, the top pad sits on the bottom pad when closed.

Bumper tilts with the clip and adds weight for ballance making it easier to open and close.

Radiator mount also holds the clip open just past balance. Using tie down straps allows adjustment and easy removal.

The end of the fenders are capped. I used a body bushing for the hood to rest on when bolted down.

Everything gets re-located to the firewall.

Yes access is very good, the whole clip comes off with two bolts, two straps and wiring conctions. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
