How will my K5/truck look with xx" tires on xx" of lift?

nice fit man i have always wanted too stick my rig in a pit of mud like that! but as you might already know my gear is no where near set up for that kind of fun, someday!
 
All you guys have really nice rigs. I like the photos that you put in a separate thread showing how they have been stuck and where they have been before. Can you tell me what the name of that thread is?:wink1:

Seriously, we try to keep this as an informative thread and you two are killing me with the updates to it. Go to the lounge and let's chat about things in there. Not trying to be too harsh about it so don't take it that way please.:D
 
i thought i was bein informative...im showin what my truck looks like with xx tires and xx lift in not so nice situations...didnt know it was a problem posting a reply with a picture to a comment someone made...but i guess you had to b the one to comment on it...


It's about time to start one.

Rules

1. Post pics on level ground, suspension at ride height

2. If you have a flex shot showing clearences, post if you feel inclined.

3. Any lift is ok, just post what it it (shackle flip, blocks, springs, zero rate, longer shackle...)

4. Post tire/wheel info aswell (wheel width/backspacing if you have it)

5. Members please link your pics from the photo gallery so all can see:D

That is a carrier built by the now defunct S.E.C. 4x4. It was made to hang off a bracket that bolted to the right side frame rail and then the bumper brackets were lengthened to allow for the extra depth. A new filler plate was installed and the factory bumper reinstalled. It looks pretty good in those pics but was built for a 35" tire so it didn't last too long in that configuration. It broke loose and went bouncing down a major road one morning in traffic.:doah: I had to rebuild it with a new spindle and more anchors.:D

maybe thats where it sits with a dodge dana 60...im assuming most people use a gm dana 60...maybe thats the difference...my .02
 
6" Skyjacker, springs all around, 1" Zero rate in rear. Nitro shocks in rear. Front duals mixed Hydro and Nitro. 37x13.5r15 on MT Classic copies. They rub a little on sharp turns at full stuff. Rides nice on the road, but not the greatest articulation.

Shipped this one up from Texas. I didn't know I would ever be able to work under a vehicle with no safety glasses and my eyes open! I still can't find any rust on her. I don't plan on driving in the winter either, though! Thanks for noticing!
