How will my K5/truck look with xx" tires on xx" of lift?

Good to see this thread come to life again. Nice rigs all around.
6" suspension and 3" body lift with 38x14.50x20 Nitto Mud Grapplers sitting on a Dana 60 front and 14 Bolt rear.

@the_blaze--I really like the look of this. Thinking eventually on my '78 of doing something similar. Any idea of the the total height?
I can go out and measure tomorrow. (Something I keep telling myself to do)

Thanks. When trimming the body, did you do anything to finish the edge?
Mine is bone stock. I'm thinking wheel spacers, trimming, and a 3-4" lift should get me to 37". I really like the lines of the trim, and it will cut out some key rust spots.
My DD is a Wrangler JKU and I have 34" tires with just spacers. I like minimal wheel well showing.

You do know that wheel spacer will make you need more trimming.
I had a stock suburban and 33" tires on stock wheels.
When I got a new set of tires I got a set of wheels that was offset to put the tires more outwards, looks awesome, but now I had to cut the rear of the front fenders 2"

Yep--Good point--if I end up getting new wheels to adjust backspacing rather than spacers.
My point was that getting the wider stance costs more trimming.
If you are ok with that then go for it.
My stock wheels looked fine and I didn't need to trim

I'm measuring about 6'11" off the back of the hard top and 6'10"ish off the roof on the cab. We cut the inner lip out, bent it and reattached it. I have a ton of detail around the middle of my plan b build thread with a ton of pics.

Reading through that thread now.
83 with 4" ORD shackle flip and 1" longer shackles in the rear. 4" springs and an ez-inch pushing the axle 1.5" forward with 39.5s. Going to put my other ez-inch in the rear to level it put and push the axle back an inch.
78’ with 4inch lift on 37’s...

That's rather uncommon to find narrow 16.5 slots. Pretty cool.
