I can go out and measure tomorrow. (Something I keep telling myself to do)@the_blaze--I really like the look of this. Thinking eventually on my '78 of doing something similar. Any idea of the the total height?
You do know that wheel spacer will make you need more trimming.Thanks. When trimming the body, did you do anything to finish the edge?
Mine is bone stock. I'm thinking wheel spacers, trimming, and a 3-4" lift should get me to 37". I really like the lines of the trim, and it will cut out some key rust spots.
My DD is a Wrangler JKU and I have 34" tires with just spacers. I like minimal wheel well showing.
My point was that getting the wider stance costs more trimming.Yep--Good point--if I end up getting new wheels to adjust backspacing rather than spacers.
I'm measuring about 6'11" off the back of the hard top and 6'10"ish off the roof on the cab. We cut the inner lip out, bent it and reattached it. I have a ton of detail around the middle of my plan b build thread with a ton of pics.Thanks. When trimming the body, did you do anything to finish the edge?
