How would you deal with a deadbeat seller?

Ordinarily I would be sympathetic towards Supersize and hard times, but his response to this, along with his actions in the past year really suck. He had or has like 8 different vehicles, I remember him posting about buying another sub a while back and partially tubing the front of his '75, not to mention buying the heep and quite obviously partying like a rock star. I think it's time he owns up and stops making excuses. He came out and admitted he did everything he was accused of, yet danced around it to try and make it sound like he's not at fault.

I've had awesome experiences buying and selling on this site. Everyone pays or ships when they say they will, and the things I've received have been beyond my expectations. Heck, just yesterday another member ordered shocks for me at cost through his shop, and is using a UPS discount to get them to me for cheap. That's the kind of people I've come to expect here.

I REALLY hate joining lynchmob mentalities here, but I think in this case a formal warning is a must and banishment should be considered. As previously stated, we police ourselves, that's what sets CK5 apart.
 
I'm just curious why you can't pay him his $250 when you said in a post on 7/4/05 "looking for a 700 r4 and t-case in az, good ready to go shape, or a cheap one that needs a rebuild" Click and then posted on 7/16/05 that you had "a set of 36 inch tsl pn chrom 8 lug wheels" for trade Click and finally on 8/15/05, just a couple of weeks ago, "I have an interest in the t-400 and 208 combo" Click

If you owe a lot of people money, you might want to figure out in terms of priority who you pay first. Those that will ruin your reputation in a broad forum, or those that can wait a bit. I also like Mikey d05 was amazed at all the project vehicles you were working on but just figured you were quite well off, had a rich family, or just hard working making big bucks. If you got in way over your head, then unfortunately you are going to have to pay the piper. I'm all for cutting somebody deserving some slack, but if I was in Spearchucker's shoes, I'd have already filed many reports many places and you wouldn't have to worry about 20 phone calls, because you'd only get three.
 
Well this sucks...

Well hell, this sucks. He owes me a set of Dana 60 bearing hubs that I paid for a while back. It has been a while (year), but I havent needed them and the last time I asked about them, he still had them. I actually just pm'd him a while ago asking about them befor seeing this thread.
Hopefully he'll reply to my pm :crazy:

SELL SOME OF YOUR SHIAT YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY BACK HARD WORKING PEOPLE YOU RIPPED OFF

I think it is undoubtfull on this and I resent Supersized replies, I feel his pain I was way into debt but I also made it right. I do not think he just came into debt when you lost faith in the deal a year later and wanted YOUR money back.

What do you have forsale Supersized I might be interested. This would help you out with debt. I of course would want the product first. I have plenty of people here to vouce for my honesty.

What a coincidence. I just got a PM saying he managed to come up with the $$ and the check will be in the mail today along with tracking #. Anyone wanna start placing bets?
 
Ultimatums work for me. Several times on Ebay I've had things "get lost" in shipment to me. All I've ever had to do is say I would leave them a Negitive in one week if the item wasn't at my door when I get home from work. Every time, I've had whatever item it was in like 4 days.
But you have to be careful, and I was really sorry about this, I had a guy send me another item after the ultimatum, and it got to me in four days, and then I got the original item two days later. The original item was POSTMARKED
one month before I got it.

Whichever way, although my hand seemed to have to be forced to make this happen, I just want to resolve it and say that I am sorry for my lack of selling skills or respect for your time/money. Had to part with something important, but I made you go through the hassle so its my own fault. I think I will discontinue shipping items on ck5 for my own sake, im too much of a procratinator and it affects others when I do it.

Once again, saying sorry does not change anything I did wrong, just feel it should be said. Also sad to have missed the first 6 pages of this post, very interesting stuff.

You say "your hand was forced" ??? I dont care if you did send the check, you're still a dick. You blame others for your problems, and have to wait for pressure to make it right. What a dick.
 
no my hand was not forced, im just in my own words saying im sorry it had to go this far,

i may be alot ALOT of things, but a dick is not one of them, thanks for your opinion.
