Howdiymobile....

Cool build!
What pitman arm are you using?
It looks like it doesn't have as much drop as most

It's of a 99+ jeep Grand Cherokee, the drag link stud misses the frame by about 1/4"

Also it doesn't really go all the way on the splines very easily, I think they are pressed onto jeep boxes, I had to use a torch to get it off.

It also had to be reamed out for a bigger drag link end. But it's reamed out too much

September 13th is my goal.

It's some type of top truck type of deal

It will be similar to this, my truck will acquire some damage

I got all shocks mounted and it still leans way over

I'm going to add a rear sway bar

I'm also going to pull a leaf from the 52's to try and drop my truck about 2"

Hopefully tomorrow I can do this

I want to my rockers like this

I don't think I'll be able to find the steel in the steel yards scrap pile so it's going to be kind of pricey

2 x 3 or 2 x 4?

think I got a 12'er of 2 x 4 for mine for under $50 iirc.....

Whichever one works best, probably 2x4. My local steel supplier rapes me, it was 8$ a foot for 1 5/8 .120 wall dom.

Hopefully it's not too bad, I'll have to check

Or I could make some tubular stuff with poo pipe :D

My rockers are nice so maybe tubular is the best bet.

Something like this

I prefer the 2 x 4 look myself..... I would definitely check on the price.... DOM tube is way more coin per foot than the rect from what I've seen usually... but hey, poo pipe'll work too, probably be less work than hacking out the rockers too...

I could get the thicker poo pipe stuff also

I can always hack the rockers out down the road, I would boat side it like willard then

Speaking of dropping your front end. I got my 52s in with the weld in hangers and the thing sat down so nice its not even funny. Have like 5-6in between my 36s and top of the fender, its perfect.

Now that I rubbed that in your face guess what happened to my dumb ass when i welded the hangers in...

I made the huge mistake of welding them in and measuring that they are the same spot based on the body bracket and low and behold one is 1/2in forward of the other. :doah::doah::doah::doah:

I was pissed my friend say "Your dumb its suppose to go measure measure measure measure, tack, measure measure measure, tack, measure measure, weld"

So yeah now I'm stuck redrilling the hole I'm using in the bracket back 1/2 in since my wheel base is 1/2in more forward on the pass side......

I did the same thing I think mine may be off, I've never bothered to check.

Mine are welded right to the body mount

Well atleast you have room to drill it. You could have messed up and had to cut it all off lol.

What side was more forward on yours

As far as I could tell mine were even, Unless the frame rails are different lengths

And heres the bottom to my square driveshaft

I just welded around the joint, didn't cut slots or holes for plug welds.

It had to pressed in so I wasn't too worried
