Newbie
Another AZ wheeler.
Hello guys. I Live in N. Phoenix and have owned Chevys 4x4s in the past. My current rig does have a stroker Blown 490 BBC with a manual 4l80 and doubler t-case setup. GM at heart. Nothing better than a Chevy engine.
Anyways I wheel a built Scout II, actually a SSII Scout. My Son a nd Built it years ago and rebuilt it again after years of abuse. Like allot of you here, we perform ALL of the work ourselves. Built, not BOUGHT.
You may have seen it in Peterson's 4 wheel and Offroad. It is this November's calender rig in their 2005 calender. It was a editor's top 10 pick of 2005 also.
It is NOT a Mall cruiser, but right now it would pass for one as I did get tired of the years of body damage and decide to rebuild the rig. So it is shiny and new; for a short while at least.
If any of you AZ guys get a run going, feel free to get ahold of me and I will wheel with you. No puss trails, but no trails like the Matrix either.
