What's up yall!

I'm new to posting, but have been checking out the site for a while. I've had three 1st gen blazers and I'm building the 3rd one right now. I'm trying to find a company that builds heavy duty hard core diesel crate motors to replace the 396 that currently resides between the fenderwells of my baby. Any help would be great. cant figure out how to post pictures but you can check it out http://coloradok5.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=11223&stc=1

72 Jimmy in AZ

HI all! Just purchased a 72 jimmy... very cosmetically challenged but she runs great and I am ready for the challenge. First order of business is the top... badly in need of restore or replaced... Anyone know where I can find one? Cant wait to get her back to snuff. Would appreciate any resources and help you guys could give. Eric

Howdy, yourself, looking for info on 1999 Chevy 1500.

Have screwy dash guages.Gas guage gave up the ghost sometime back, giving me message that I was Low on Fuel. Temp guage redlined out giving me Check coolant temperature as message. not hot. actual measured coolant at 140 degrees. Now gas guage works part time. Any suggestions?

My name is Nick. I am a Sgt. in the Marine Corps. I purchased my 86 K-5 about a year ago. I have done a little to it. However, due to deployments, I have not had the time to put too much work into it. I bought a 4" suspension lift for it. I will be putting it on soon. I need to order some more parts so that I can knock out some other things on it. I need to get rid of some rusty parts so that the cancer does not spread. Currently, I live in North Carolina.

hello

hi, my name is pat, and im just getting started on a 79 k5 that i picked up for 50bucks. minus the drive train, and front clip. going to be a family rig for hunting and camping. it will end up with a 4" lift, 35" tires, choped fenders, and a new interior. my wife is just so happy about it all. but what a way to get a 4 year old interested in trucks.

new to CK5

Hi, my name is Dan and I own a 80 K5. Running a Dana 44/ Chevy 14 bolt with disc brakes, stock gears 3.73's, yuck, but help on the road. Stock 350 rebuild a few months before I bought the truck, but I added a new cam, intake, and headers that flow to 40 series then dump mid truck. I have a 4" lift with 36" tires, trimed. In the process now of doing body prep for paint and building a doubler with my Dad.

Whats up?

Hi from Arizona. Lookin forward to learnin some stuff. Got a 89 K5. I am the second owner, so its mostly original. Got a few nick Knacks on it. Fixin to do a few more. I use to have a 86 K5 that I used for rockcrawling, so I know a decent amount of stuff. Had to retire it after the frame gave up the ghost. (and I got married) Just gettin back into things.
Thinking of becoming a supporting member. Then I will be able to have a signature? right? Anyway, hello and thanks for the great site.

OH and BTW, The reason for taking so long to post after I joined last year, is thats about the time I retired(got married). But I'm back to stay!

Howdy all. Got a good deal on a 91 K2500 which is now my daily driver, and most importantly, tow rig. :D Here it is next to my trail rig. Future plans are regear to 4.10, 33s, and a few bolt ons for more power. :wink1: I've already found a lot of great info on this board!
