Is this a D44 or D60?

D44

Edit: I was going to say ten bolt but I wasn't sure.

How do you know the difference between a 44 and 10 bolt?

corp 10 bolts have the ear's on the bottom of the housing .

dana axles have the same shape cover just get bigger with each axle size jump .

and dana 60 for our trucks = 4 studs / nuts were the 1 ball joint nut would be if it had ball joints . and bolts for the pumkin side leaf spring pad cause the housing is so big for a reg u-bolt . so only3 u-bolts .

I should have remembered the stud/u-bolt dilemma since I bolted my D60 in only a couple years ago.

looks like parts alone is almost the 5200 bucks . thats how i buy my stuff the full parts out value so if its no good i still break even .

That was kind of my thought as well. I'm liking those brand new Toyos. I was hoping the front axle was beefier, and thus add more to the value.

Obijuan, don't you go snaking this from me just because I scooped that c30 out of Austin before you could see it.

He's probably not interested in it.
To much of a darth Vader vibe

Lol I think that is a 5 thousand dollar truck. Alot of the "custom" stuff can be undone really easily and get it up to a pretty valuable truck.

What things do you speak of?
I didn't think it was that bad. What would you change?

Stickers, seats, bumpers, steering wheel, tcase shifter, the diamond plate, red shock boots, the electrical mess, and gauges.
I dont like that stuff. Typical previous owner parts.

I totally agree with you about all that. But I don't think any of those things change the price of the truck.

IE. Change all those things the truck goes to 7-8K, I don't think so tim.

I haven't seen this thing in person, so not sure what kind of hacks have been done to it, but there are some good parts to it to start. Not so much the remote on the steering wheel. This will likely be an off-road rig, not a resto, so I'll be looking at it through a different lens than I usually do.
