Oooo another truggy build thread count me in. Curious to see how the 4 link and 1/4 elliptical comes out

Could you do a quickie write up of the process as you go? How are you figuring all of your angles etc. I have read some write ups/articles and they all say it is very hard to do "right"

Alright time for todays installment.Spent the morning cuttin and drillin tabs.

While I torched off the spring pads and cleaned up the 14 bolt.

We got the old crossmember cut out yesterday and the new one welded in and braced.

did alot of talking today and had a change of plans...went with a 2 inch king air shock insted of the quarter elip....shocks should be in by the end of the week
 
i was about to pm you and ask you what your opinion was but the guys over at downsouthmotorsports.com basically anwsered all my questions...they said since i had lost so much weight id be fine with the 2.0s

Yep, that's pretty much the only thing with air shocks; they can't hold a lot of weight.

The rear of your truck should be light enough.

When's the ETA for a trail run?
