:waytogo:Wow !! Really turning out great! I am guessing the pic of the unfinished beadlock on the 6 lug wheel was just to show off the beadlock. You aren't running 6 lug wheels, are you?

the list is getting shorter slowly.all the wheels are on and done.still waiting on steering parts from tangent or else that be done.anyway here are some pics

ok so here is the list i got left to do.my tube is at tangent so it should be in by the end of the week begining of next.
center rear limiting strap
put pass side shock on
put driveshaft in (timmy is making tomm)
change oil
top gear oil off in front diff
put all the steering stuff on (no hydro but if i have time a big mabye)
adjust links
set timing
mount hi lift
put in center console

i also have to get the exaust done (got a shorty header imma have to use on the pass side and i get exhaust i might try to make work if not ill take it to the shop).

last night when i flexed the truck out the front did NOTHING.i didnt understand what was going on till today i relized that i needed longer shackles cause my rear eye (front spring) was laying on the frame.i took some 7 1/4s i had and cut them down to 6 inches and re drilled them while i had them clamped together.

i also got the toolbox mounted by using some 3 inch body blocks i cut in half to make 1.5 inch and ran some half inch bolts through them.also got the 60 yoke on (think i need to put some more torque on it,to much backlash) and got the drivers shock on.all in all a good night.i wanted to keep working but it started raining/snowing.

the biggest issue i for see being a problem in the next 26 days before raush is the trans.hopefully we can get it figured out soon.also got some more pics at ride height.

i also got some measurments last night

belly height-27 inches
under 60-14 inches
under 14b-13.5 inches
roof height-7 foot
wheelbase-120

don't know a lot about air shocks but it looks like you might need some bumpstops on the back to keep those shocks alive. i dig your build, keep up the good work. and school me if i'm thinking wrong

well jay it isnt the same truck for sure. for all you cry babies whining about cutting up a clean truck grow up. it a 77 nothing rare. you want him to save the rockers and ship them to you? seriously? you can buy repops for 30 bucks. it was a nice clean truck but what better place to start? why would you want to start a build like this with a rust bucket? then you have floor issues etc. I think he did well. the cab and front clip is all that was cut and the front was done when he got it from me. so basically all he cut up was the cab. I have worked on and driven it since the new look and build. this thing is sweet for sure. crazy nice approach and departure. plenty of power and protection. Great job Jay....

this weekend

Truck looks great:waytogo: I really like how it came out, once I build a dedicated trail rig (gotta finish my current rig first) I am going to have to steal some ideas from you:D. Good luck up at raush and take lots of pics!
