Izzy's 81 K5 Restoration Project, Exterior Complete...

I know there is different speeds of hardener depending on what brand of paint you use... But, you should always use the exact amount of reducer and hardener.

The amount of reducer ratio on the can is based on a high and low temp. If you are painting outside of those temps you can add or reduce this amount. I'm not a good enough chemist to know how much. So that's why painting in temp ranges outside of what's on the can is not a good idea. Which is what my post was about.

You wanna see what the taping looks like for the paint scheme? Yeah right like your gonna get a sneek peek... :haha::haha: Well I have alot of wet sanding, and taping to do tomorrow so I can paint Saturday. Stay Tuned..
 
Painting Exterior

Thanks guys for the words of encouragement. Tomorrow is the day, I cant wait and at the same time I am a lil scared to.. :crazy: I put down some tape lines for the graphics just to see what it would look like and almost shat myself. Keep the fingers crossed and if your religious Please pray for me... HEHE

White is painted

Well got the white paint sprayed and letting it dry for about another 30 mins then I have to tape off the white areas I wanna Keep and spray the red... Mooo Haha :wink1:

I ran oot of welding wire last week.... got some yesterday though.

Well this just in I got some pics for you guys and before you get to excited.. This has NOT been clear coated yet. I ran out of sunlight. :doah: Soo here we go.
